According to officials, these faux creatures serve as platforms for turtles to climb upon, providing them with a safe spot to bask in the sun before returning to the water. However, the origin of the hippos added an amusing twist to the tale. Apparently, the hippos had managed to break loose from their moorings, prompting concerns among park-goers.
